Please enjoy my latest short story, “Try Not to Die in the Meantime”.

“He was dead. At least, that was what the papers said. It wasn’t the first time either. Rich Haggard had died many times during the two miserable decades that made up his life.”

This short piece is the story of a young man who is in the odd situation of having his supposed “death” reported several times in the paper. His friend pleads with him to take these strange occurrences as a sign that God is trying to get his attention but it isn’t until he faces a real near-death experience that he takes his life and eternity seriously.
